War of the Burning Sky 4e
As old and frail as a tome, and just as valuable a source of knowledge
When asked to picture an old librarian, even if you’d never met Jevran before the image you’d conjure up would be of him. Standing at a not-at-all imposing 5 foot nothing, and losing a few inches of that from his bent posture, he may well be the least threatening human being over the age of three. Jevran administrates the Gate’s Pass chapterhouse of the Hospitaler Order, and any member that’s spent more than one shift working under Jevran would have a few words on how intimidating an old man can truly be when you mistake arrowroot balm with lictus salve.
Jevran is known for his compulsively detailed records of all wounds, worries, and workers that have passed through his infirmary and for his utter dedication to the beliefs of the Hospitalers. It is rumored that he can cast the Bravo’s Boast enchantment even on an enemy’s blade, though no one has been so foolish as to provoke him into proving it. He tolerates no violence, or even loud arguments, within the walls of the chapterhouse and wont even allow junior members to carry their weapons outside their rooms. Despite his stern nature he is a very caring individual and once he no longer feels the need to oversee a member like an overbearing parent he can be a very jovial fellow.
Jevran is a priest of the Saraswatin and helps to train new initiates when not working in the chapterhouse.
